COVID LATEST

As most of you will now know, the Government officially announced the regulations for Covid 19 relating to our venue and sport as being relaxed, similar to those for every day to day life, with the hope that we can start to be able to live with Covid 19, with many of us having had our vaccinations.

We at Luxulyan SMBC will still be providing hand sanitizer and would remind you to please use this. We also welcome the use of face masks for those who wish to still use them. We have proved that it is possible to still enjoy our sport socially by originally being awarded an ESMBA COVID SAFE CLUB certificate, being given the 'Safe Bowls Status' to continue to bowl through times when Covid was still a threat, but down to the assistance of our members and guests and our committee making sure equipment and regulations were in place and abided by, we have come through these worrying times. We still keep a signing in register for each session, so that in any case that may affect anyone present in our sessions, we can still warn others that may have been in contact. This is kept stored, locked away for twenty one days and then destroyed in accordance with data protection laws. If we continue to do our part, we can keep our great sport continuing for all to enjoy.
